Each material is evaluated through provenance, performance, architectural character and available environmental documentation. A listed material may therefore be a candidate, an identified specification or a documented project material.

A Norwegian natural stone considered for surfaces where permanence, geological provenance and a direct relationship to the Norwegian landscape are important.

Coated steel system being evaluated for the GM30 standing-seam roof. The material should support the building's restrained Nordic expression while providing a durable, technically documented building-envelope solution.

A cast mineral flooring system considered for continuous floor surfaces where a stone-like architectural expression is required with minimal joints and a restrained material palette.
